“FBed is a conceptual multipractical bed design that would allow you always to be up to date and close to your online friends even when you sleep. The idea is that you may hoop in front of your screen directly from your bed when you wake up, and inverse when you get tired and wan’t to go sleep…”
The Facebook bed otherwise known as the Fbed, has been designed by Tomislav Zvonarić, and allows those addicted to staying up to date with their Facebook updates a place to grab a little shut eye in between typing.
As you can see from the images below the Facebook Bed has been designed using the Facebook “f” logo turned on its side. At one end there is a space for your computers connected directly to your Facebook pages and a sleeping area at the other. Although you will need to stay cross-legged or a little cramped when using the computer, as leg space is at a premium.
Situated above the headrest is a computer chair and desk, giving eager Facebook updaters a handy location to keep their friends updated during the wee hours should the need arise. And it will, of course, especially if you are as big a Facebook nerd as you think you are!
Potential downsides with the bed in its current form? Well, from what we can tell looking at the images provided, you’ll need to either be a small child or like sleeping doubled-up, because that space taken up by your computer makes the rest of the bed seem unusually short. If you’re vertically challenged though, that obviously won’t be a problem.
